EDIT:: I... I figured I should bring this back up-to-date... but I couldn't take her all the way off. I just couldn't. :tears:

Me babies.
I figured I would make a reference to all the horses we have at Ashwood. Now you guys can all see what all my babies look like without having to deal with my horrible photography skills! :D So... who do you think is prettiest?

Our School Horses
(these are the horses that have been deemed safe enough for our lesson kids to ride, ranging from seasoned show ponies to challenging youngsters)
- Guidon: approx. 25yro Thoroughbred gelding, fleabitten gray; seasoned show horse, strong jumper.
- Blaze: approx. 18yro Quarter Horse mare, flaxen chestnut; our barn's golden girl, anyone can ride her.
- BamBam: 4yro Paint x QH gelding, chestnut tobiano; youngster, but as docile as a puppy dog.
- Nino: 4yro Paint gelding, palomino tovero; youngster, takes a calm hand to handle.
- Jessie [RIP]: approx. 7yro Quarter Horse mare, heavily dappled gray; takes a confident rider, but has tons of heart.

Our Project Horses
(horses that are currently in training by the interns)
- Lady Gresham: 5yro Thorougbred mare, chestnut; in training by me [Marissa].
- Bacardi: 5yro Thorougbred gelding, bay; in training by Whitney.
- Captain: 4yro Chincoteague Pony gelding, dun; trainers unspecified.
- Annie: approx. 6yro Quarter Horse mare, lightly dappled gray; in training by Allie.

Our Colts
(young or ungelded horses that have yet to start their training)
- Sage: 3yro Mustang stallion, flaxen chestnut; owned by Bebe though considered one of Ashwood's.
- Rags: approx. 18mo QH x Arab colt, bay; sweet boy.
- Bear: approx. 10mo Chincoteague Pony colt, bay tobiano; the embodiment of EVIL.
- Nimitz: approx. 10mo Chincoteague Pony colt, liver chestnut; Bear's ebil little sidekick.

Our Boarders
(horses not owned by Ashwood but still apart of our little barn family)
- Rocky: approx. 30yro Tennessee Walker gelding, black; owned by Amanda, the "granddad" of the farm (so even-tempered and gentle that even the other horses respect him)
- Shamrock: 5yro Arabian gelding, bay; owned by Caitlyn, he's just awesome.
- Rocket: approx. 4yro Mustang gelding, black; owned by Sarah, skittish and shy.
- Izzy: approx. 12yro Appaloosa x QH gelding, seal bay with very minor snowflake markings; owned by Reagan, previously one of our best school horses and about the most willing and sweet horse around.

heh. I thought you would like Izbo. :giggle: I had a hell of a time trying to remember which side his little spots were on though! :XD: Eventually, I decided that I would just put them on the side that you would see, so he could show off his Appaloosa-ness, since he's the only representative of it at our barn anymore! :noes: We need more Appies. We have like a million QHs and a good few TBs and Paints and even a couple Mustangs and Chincoteagues! You'd think, instead of plucking these wild ponies off the range, we could get a pretty Appy instead. :XD:
I'm happy you like Ninos; I do, too, but a lot of people think he's ugly with his blue eyes and white coat and pink skin. You can't see his palomino splotches at first, so half the farm thinks he's some sort of scary albino. But I think he's gorgeous and love his beautiful blue eyes. :aww:

Lol. You can never have too many Appies. I remember being so proud when I had Penny boarded at The Bridle Path (aka the crappy barn). She was the first Appy they ever had. Last summer they had another Appy boarded there, but those people left pretty quickly when they realized what it was like there (as do most people :XD:).
I love horses like that! Dream Chasers, where my friend boards at, has two Paints boarded, a bay overo with two blue eyes and a bay tovero with one blue eye. They're both so gorgeous.
